It’s Time to Evolve.

Sharing is caring!

I’ve picked at this blog for 3 years around work and life. I’ve tried to write things from an informative perspective and to deep-dive into concepts, with easy-to-understand but often lengthy posts. Trying to work out how best position myself in the infosphere with sanitised language and following all the rules for a blog. It never felt right. I kept picking at it here and there, and it fell by the wayside. It didn’t fit.

Forget that. That’s pandering to an algorithm, and I’m just not about that kind of bullshit. My hackles go up whenever AI is mentioned, and I don’t care about pandering to an algorithm, let alone an AI.

If you’re here, you’re here following along with my strange little self-sufficiency adventure. Self-sufficiency, self-reliance, less handing over agency to corporations and government, more doing things for myself, ourselves.

Less disposable crap. More buy once, cry once.

Slower living. Conscious living.

Less external input, more using what I already have available.

Learning by doing. Sharing what I learn.

Evolving is necessary to continue the project. We evolve when things don’t fit or we need change. So that’s what I’m going to do. More photos of projects. Less sanitised info dumps. You’ll see my ‘sentence enhancers’ sprinkled throughout my words. I write how I speak. Sometimes that’s with five-syllable words. Sometimes it’s with four-letter words. Depends what’s going through my head.

As life keeps getting tougher and more expensive, I prefer to rely on myself and learn on my own. Knowledge can’t be taken away from you. If you learn something from being here, great. If not, then I hope I’ve been entertaining.
